Snapchat Data File Retro



This task requires you to request your Snapchat data.


Instructions


1. Open the Snapchat app.


2. Tap your profile image from the top left.


3. Open Settings (gear icon) at the top right.


4. Scroll down and open My Data under Privacy Controls.


5. Enter your login credentials.


6. It will redirect you to the “Download My Data” page.


7. Remove the green tick from "Export HTML files" and click on the "Export JSON files" (so that the check mark goes green)



8. Scroll to the bottom and hit the "Next" button.


9. Please uncheck the date filter.


10. Confirm your email address is correct and click on "Submit".


⚠️ If you do not select your format as a .JSON your MSR points will be deducted.
