This task requires you to request your Facebook data.
Instructions
1. Open your Facebook app.
2. Tap on your profile menu located on the bottom right corner.
3. Tap "Accounts Centre".
4. Tap "Information and permissions".
5. Tap "Download your Information".
6. Tap "Download or transfer information".
7. Tap "Available information".
8. Tap on "Download to a device".
9. Select the range to be "last 3 years" and then "save".
10. Format should be in JSON.
11. Check that the media quality is "low".
⚠️ If you do not select your format as a .JSON your MSR points will be deducted.
Once your download request is ready, you’ll receive an email and in-app notification notifying you.

How will I receive my Facebook data?

What should I do if I don’t receive the confirmation email from Facebook?
Check your spam or junk folders. If you still don’t see it, ensure you are checking the email associated with your Facebook account and consider resubmitting your request.
How long does it take to receive my Facebook data?
The processing time can vary, but you should receive an email from Meta within a few hours to a few days.
What if I have multiple Facebook accounts?
Ensure you request your data from the account you primarily use.
My requested data has been divided into three separate zip files. What should I do?
If your Facebook data is too large to fit into a single zip file, it will be divided into multiple files. To address this, please request your data again and at Step 9, select "Last Year" instead of "Last 3 Years" for the date range. This should reduce the data size and fit it into a single zip file.
